Konkurs M&T, Infrastructure jest konkursem zamawianym opracowanym w odpowiedzi na ogłoszone przez Komisję Europejską Zgłoszenie potrzeby badań oraz potrzeby wsparcia dla infrastruktury badawczej Konkurs ten obejmuje zadania o charakterze bazowym z grupy Pomiary i Testowanie oraz z grupy obejmującej Wsparcie dla infrastruktury badawczej. Zadania przewidziane w tym konkursie dla grupy Pomiary i Testowanie mają dotyczyć "Metodologii związanej ze wsparciem dla standardyzacji oraz polityki europejskiej". W ramach wsparcia dla infrastruktury badawczej konkurs ten realizowany będzie poprzez sieci tematyczne (Thematic Networks) obejmujące trzy tematy opisane szczegółowo w

• Temat 12.Provision of the metrological support needed to remove the existing impediments to the development and implementation of international trade agreements
• Temat 13. Improving dialogue between EU regulatory bodies and National Metrology Institutes over implementing European requirements and developing capabilities for traceable measurements,
• Temat 14. Interpretation and implementation of the new standard ISO 17025 by national metrology institutes in Europe,

Przy składaniu projektów dotyczących tego konkursu można dołączyć również wniosek o finansowanie stypendysty z krajów rozwijających się.
